@DanielHaydenBerman a real ringflash would produce a haloing effect. but the lid from the container kind of ruins that, it acts as a diffuser.. cheaper yes. i agree. which is good. and if im not mistaken... good job none the less. creativity = 10 nice job

im just wondering why you would bother with a ring flash if it is only giving the same effect as a softbox, or octabank?

@DustinBodenVEVO It is significantly cheaper than a softbox or octobank and is designed to work with smaller speedlights. The effect you get is also different, a ringflash produces a haloing effect and distinct reflection in a subjects' eyes. Check out the sample photos on my website (listed in the info) and you'll see what I mean.
