CO2 is a life gas, and natural component of the biosphere. CO2 does not drive climate change, and is readily absorbed at higher concentrations by existing plant life. In the 1970s, the belief was that CO2 would block sunlight and cool the earth, now it's believed that CO2 will block heat energy from leaving earth.

ok lets say humans are the #1 cause for this global crisis, how will this tax on the people help anything ? the big companies will keep dumping toxic waste in our water our land and our air, they will buy carbon credits and pass on the cost to the people, so the tax and higher prices will only end up making more people poor and more people will starve and DIE !

CNN, 07/12/09:

Some parts of Iowa could receive up to 10 " of snow, according to CNN affiliate KCCI. The state already received up to 5 " of snow from the disturbance Sunday.

Chicago, Ill., received about an " of snow through Mon. morning, said CNN iReporter Alan Hawkins. The sun came out & began to melt the snow, but by late morning the sky was overcast again.
