Im using logic pro 9 and when I bring up the automation for aupitch I am not able to finely adjust or automate to 0. the closest i can get to 0 is either -18.9 or + 18.9... any suggestions?

@timothywynnable I'm pretty sure that was done with a Sylenth preset. Typically you would use a plug-in/vst to create white noise and set a slow attack it sounds like it's building up.
