The Yuan forces of Khubilai Khan attacked Hakata Bay in Japan in 1274. To the west lay Imazu, to the east, the town of Hakata.

  • @gg26black No, Japanese armour was made of metal or hardened leather scales lacquered black and then laced together with coloured silk or leather cord.

It 's always harder when you have to assault from sea. Especially when there are storms.

  • lol not only does the mongol kill their army, they kill the samurai spirit as well

  • @chiconspiracy Well we know that now, but at the time it was quite a powerful idea. The sinking of a mighty armada that should have easily crushed the english forces by an unforseen storm was quite the sign from above at the time.

  • @GoHardMG

LOL, the mongols fought European knights and kicked their asses through and through.

  • @Etimos

Well, the English did send their own armada to Spain afterwards, and it got trounced completely. But yeah, divine protection is a silly concept.

  • @Etimos The devil can ask things of God too you know.

Either way, THAT battle had NOTHING to do with Anglicans. It had to do with the Protestants, since Queen Elizabeth WAS protestant.

  • @Dictator300 That's kind of a silly answer, isnt it? In the eyes of the English, and much of the christian world thereafter, Henry's actions, and those of his daughter Elizabeth were sanctified by the 'divine storm' which wrecked the papist armies of the Spanish armada off their coast, ruining an entire nation's military without ever setting a single foot on their 'sacred' island.

If God was really rebuked by anglicanism, why would he have allowed a fleet of his faithful to die in a squall?

  • 4:51 - 4:55 great acting...!

  • @Etimos Yes, but the English spat in the face of God. So there's a problem there that the Japanese don't have. The English were rebuked by Saint Thomas More for creating the Anglicanism. And for that, the English cut his head off, simply because he was the only who didn't attest to the tyrant, King Henry VIII's, demands. "A Christian religion cannot be commenced by vote or by anyone's command except from that of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom had it granted to Peter, whilst on Earth." -Thomas More

  • lol isee the enemy leader
