Oh I wasn't bummed at all. The Paisley was a nice guitar but my MiM is nice too. I was just saying it wouldn't have been any major upgrade. I've owned several Strat's too and I think my current MiM holds up well. I'm happy with it.

Either you played a bad one or I got a good one. Either way I'm sorry you were bummed about it. I'm stoked about mine, I've owned and played literally dozens of strats in my lifetime. Oh well!

These guitars are pretty nice. Some snobs say the old ones are better, I don't know, I haven't played an old one, but I do know that these are fine, fine guitars. Better than USA Standards for sure.

I played one of these yesterday at Guitar Showcase. I liked it but it was really not any better than my current MiM Strat so I figured I would be buying it only for the paint job.

friend, very good timbre of the guitar, which pickup? Peavey Classic 30 amp no effect? Congratulations on the footprint.

if i remember right it was the neck and middle pickup together. just the amps reverb. footprint?
