Hi..castor oil does not straighten the hair but rather a moisturizing agent. How are you trying to use it to straighten? Why don't you flat iron or press it?

I don't see why not...it is very thick. So just apply it spraingly...or else it will look a mess.

SUGGESTED PRECAUTION: While researching castor oil i came across suggestions not to use it if ur pregnant, or while on ur period. Also, do not use on broken skin, including sores in head. I know it can be taken internally, but just thought i'd pass this along, in case someone is experiencing adverse reactions. Good vid, Blackhairplanet!!
