NOTE- WINDKESSEL FUNCTION is a measure of aortic elasticity, derived from subtracting the diameter of the aorta at diastole FROM the aortic diameter at systole (Aortic Diameter at Systole - Aortic Diameter at Diastole = Windkessel Function).
Dr. John Raymond Baker,DC discusses problems with the Isolated Systolic Hypertension Illness classification, discusses white coat hypertension and "white coat syndrome" and explains what Windkessel Function is (diameter of aorta at systole minus diameter of aorta at diastole)
