This is my second tribute to Joan... but I deleted the other one, and I think that it is much better put together than the first one I made.
Joan Crawford introduced me to the definitive time of Hollywood, when I actually took full notice of something "old". Her beauty charmed me on the TV screen and that night I promised myself I would remember the name "Joan Crawford". The next morning I woke up and quickly searched her name on YouTube, and that's when it hit me. I became an admirer for the Golden Age of Hollywood.
She was born Lucille Fey LeSueur on March 23, 1906 in Texas. Her mother and father were Anna Bell Johnson and Thomas LeSueur. At a young age, her father left the family, leaving behind Joan and her older brother Hal. Joan began as a chorus girl and worked her way into films. She became known for her dance moves at the Coconut Grove and won over 100 trophies. After her start, her career expanded and acted in many films. Along the way, she married Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Franchot Tone, Philip Terry and Alfred Steele. The three men were actors, while one was a soda endorser. She adopted, originally, five children, but one was taken back. The four remaining were Christina, Christopher, Cathy and Cindy.

Great tribute, but Joan was born in 1906 not 1905.
