  • its not about being sloppy....you can tie fly's the way you want theres no right or wrong....I use the the wooly bugger that he ties in the video and it is very effective...and im sure the way you tie yours is good to.

  • Dont "tie in" the lead. before you start the thread wrap the lead on in smooth touching turns. Then start your thread and secure the lead onto the shank with crossing turns.

  • That's one way around here fish them like that only in faster water

    but in the lakes we fish them just below the surface and twitch them occasionally .
