Micah...great work. you're way better than I, but I would love to see you lay this down with an electric guitar. it's great to be unique and showcase your amazing skills, but i would really like to see a more traditional cover here.

Micah, I realize I may have been judging the jam a bit out of context. I really do admire your looping creativity and guitar playing. I can tell you are a high quality solo and I'd love to hear more! Keep on jammin' man!

@fezzard Thanks! Its a Taylor 314CE and i use a BOSS GT-6 to get the electric sound. Lots of tweaking here and there. A bit of a "Secret Sauce" if you will. haha.

Excellent guitar work but a very monotonous jam. I hear no Voodoo Child melody. Jimi must be rolling over in his grave. You can do better than that!

I actually agree with the monotonous part. I play the whole song from beginning to end and this is the long looping part in the middle. Looping pulls me into a monotonous type solo. And given the straight acoustic nature of the rest of the song, this is a welcomed departure for the listener. It was a good night and the performance that night of this song had people standing and cheering at the end. Being there live is a way better experience. NOTE: I play the opening riff in the solo.

hey Micah, tell me if I guess this right. You're using two pedals: maybe one Jamman or a RC-20XL and possible a heavy metal distorter like hum...Big Muff?

I'm using the RC-50 and the Boss GT-6 for the distortion and other guitar effects.
