ehemm! Huskies are okay to run on ice? They have protective shoes YouTubilify if it is your concerne, buy them shoes arsiss. Right surface, not even my horses have horse shoes, wrong surface, if you can't GET them, FIND A WAY TO MAKE THEM. Shoes. Wake up and get off of the couch for heaven's sake.

@YouTubilify I simply can't see where the "anger" you're talking about, is. Could you give a time-line on the vid you're referring to? The "woman" is either "showing" anger, or is expressing "anger problems"? Just wondering. Perhaps I simply need it pointed out, since I viewed this video 3 times after reading your comment and only saw a woman talking to her dogs and the person filming this vid with a smile. What annoys me is why we can't HEAR them with Bonanza elevator music instead.

Oooh! Glad to see someone else who rides with their dog! My husky goes nuts if he doesn't get a few runs in a week with my trike. And he CAN tell me when he's tired, thirsty, etc... Mostly, he tells me when we've rested long enough and it's time to get moving again. :P

It depends on the dog, age, condition. My 2 malamutes run on a trike like demons and love it. It is worse to UNDER-exercise dogs and let them get fat and age faster than triking them which keeps them fit - do not torture dogs, they will show you when they are tired. use common sense. Never run in bad summer heat, carry water, rest - and let the dogs show you how much they want to do. And a lot depends on the breed also. But dogs LOVE this trike - I do this with my dogs also.
