The qualifiers at the third edition of "Serbia Open powered by Telekom Srbija" (April 23 - May 1, 2011) got underway at 10am on Saturday at the Tennis Center Novak in Belgrade.

Number one and number three seeds, Yen-Hsun Lu (TPE) and Yuri Schukin (KAZ), have been upset this morning at the beginning of the qualifying competition.

Lu lost to Ervin Eleskovic (SWE) 0-6, 4-6, while Schukin retired to 19-year-old Mirza Basic (BIH) due to injury at 3-6, 2-3.

Sixth-seeded Croatian Franco Skugor (155) beat Amir Weintraub of Israel 6-3, 6-1.

Serbian wild card Nikola Milojevic hasn't made it into the second round. He fell to Spaniard Gerard Granollers-Pujol 2-6, 4-6.

Three more home players will go out on court tourt today. Miljan Zekic faces Italian Marco Crugnola, no.8 seed Nikola Ciric takes on Siarhei Betau (BLR), while Dusan Vemic plays against second-seeded Marsel Ilhan (TUR).
