@krononomikon - Ok! I get you. :) God bless!

@krononomikon ...when they see themselves having been left out of the Kingdom,and out of the thousand-year reign! I guess it's closer to first in order like you said, but I just meant to point out that it could also be looked at in another light too. :)

@arovir Yes, and I understand that "the rest of the dead were not raised until the thousand years had ended", but I'm just saying that I thought the "first" there didn't denote that part, but was saying that it was the best resurrection. It can mean either, I guess, but also that it's good to remember that He also meant that with the first and the last... 'cause according to Daniel, they will all be resurrected, but some to life and others to shame.If nothing else, imagine their surprise...

Amen Brother. And Paul explains it very clearly as far as the order of this greatest of all events. Jesus coming, gathering and then wrath. And our gathering and his wrath are really secondary. When he comes & everyone sees the Lord it puts to rest the greatest question of all time. Does God really exsist?

:) Thanks for elaborating on a verse I mentioned in the vid. Yes, we all need to watch so His coming will not take us by surprise. Christ said to the church in Sardis: "Wake up..." Rev 3:2 NASB. Then He said: "If therefore you will not wake up, I will come like a thief..." It's my prayer that we will stay awake, and not slumber and sleep at this critical hour of world history!

Another point to add to the wonderful video you made: the bible is written by believers, for believers. That being said: Regarding the thief in the night - He comes as a thief to the church of Sardis, the dead church, as a thief in the night, but for those of us watching for Him He will not surprise us.
Rev 3:3 Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (referencing the dead church and those who do not watch). Amen
I do believe that the first resurrection is the first resurrection, but I believe when it says "first" there that it means the best resurrection, like "the prime resurrection".

@krononomikon Hi! Even though "the first resurrection" mentioned in Rev 20:5 is as Hebrews 11:35 says: "a better resurrection", it is nevertheless the first of two - the second will concern all "the rest of the dead" (Rev 20:5) who were not raised at the coming of Christ when the resurrection of "the dead in Christ" occurs (1 Thess 4:16). As the mention of "the second death" in Rev 21:8 presupposes a first death, in like manner the mention of "the first resurrection" is indicative of a second.

Very cool video and nice perspective. The saddest thing about the pre trib view is that it takes so much of the steam out of Christ's second coming. Verses about his REVEALING applied to a secret rapture. To the point the rapture is more important than his second coming.

I'm glad you liked the video, and I agree with your assessment of the pre-trib teaching. Yes, it seems the rapture event has in many minds overshadowed the second coming. It has been separated from the second coming by a period of time, and projected as a journey to heaven. In reality the rapture is an intricate part of the second coming involving how all the saints will be gathered to meet and welcome Christ as He is in the process of returning back to earth to reign!
