I have to say that the collector from Christy's is lying. Any1 in the art world knows that 100,000 for art like this would be an outrageously good deal. They had to know what they were doing. To say that they did not is completely unreasonable.

This COULD NOT have happened without the collusion of the GOVERNMENT.
WHY would the government wanted to destroy the heritage of the people?
Why would those statues be sold?
Why would the inventory of a museum be gutted?
Why does this happen in an Islamic country?

I have a friend in interpol with the stolen artifacts unit, and she says, believe it or not, most stolen museum pieces end up on Ebay. It's almost impossible for artifact collectors to know the origin of the piece they're purchasing.
