Elite Syncopations by Scott Joplin

Hi, so this is my first video to be uploaded, i have several videos actually and all of them were not really that great. hahaha.. But yeah, i jsut decided maybe i could jsut download them and have fun watching them, it's what matters most! haha.. Anyway, this video was made a year ago i guess.. My "very good" videographer's my younger sibling watch out and rate how good he is! haha.. and the pianist is, uhm, me.. hehehe.. I know i made a lot of terrible mistakes here but i had fun playing ragtime! I love it so much.

Generally, i really don't like myself to be recorded but since my mother requested me to play this ragtime (her favorite) before i leave for university again ('twa semestral break and the night when this w sataken was my last night at home) so my mom aked me if she could hve a video of me playing her fave ragtime, so yeah here it is a her favor, and yeah i realized it is fun to watch yourself having fun creating music in the air! hehehe..

I only played the piano for 3-4 years now, started late 14-15 and now i am 18, will be 19 this september! wohoo! hehe

i know this is not really a great video, but hope you have fun! :)

Wow, very nice! I was wondering when I'd see your playing, and you did not disappoint....that's so cool that imong mama gusta siyag ragtime...hehehe.. Akong pamilya, dili sila kasabot ug ragtime, and they fail to see what masterpieces these are. Anyway, you're doing great since you're still a bata...you have many years of fine playing ahead of you!

@RicAbapo Well, they don't "dis-like" it, but they prefer if I play pop music, movie tunes or classical. My wife loves when I play "Fur Elise"...lol. I'm not too good at classical and much prefer ragtime. I'm glad others (like you) enjoy it on YouTube though.

@cebukid70 pop music? for me, that's total EW! hahaha.. love songs, yes!! but pop songs? no!!! hahaha.. I don't like playing pop songs, it's like disrespecting the art of piano! hahaha.. :)) Yeah, ragtime is beautiful and no wonder why a lot love playing it!
