This story is to give life to the need for full body scanners in public. NYC is one of the many places that wants to scan people despite there is no probable cause or reasonable suspicion to do so. "Terry" searches are legal, if the officer believes that the person has a weapon that can be harmful to the officer or the public. The big danger for officers that perform this search under the "terry law", is how did they determine that person had a weapon? Profiling? Race? Dress? Location? and so on

Sorry , I don't believe it. I think the cops are covering up something THEY did. There is NO WAY you can pass through a metal detector and miss a big gun like that. I think the gun belonged to the cops.

Any man who would do such a thing like that most likely been practicing for a long time.
The story doesn't even sound real, but you never know cause people these days are crazy.
I'm sure the guy is a christian and believe in Jesus.
I heard the gun wasn't even loaded.
My question is how the hell does a 10 inch long gun that also bend at about 4 inches get in there and passed through security in a prison?
Don't prisons have metal detecting systems? SMH
I believe the story is misleading.
