2002 BMW M5 dyno test with 148.000 km, tested at Power Plus Engineering (Brussels, Belgium). No modifications except Eisenmann Sport exhaust.

Result: 374 bhp (400 bhp claimed) and 488 nm (500 nm claimed)

  • The dyno test was performed on a four wheel drive rolling road which includes a synchronising system between front and rear axles. This also avoids error messages that the DSC otherwise may throw up, if the front wheels are stationary when the rear wheels are turning.

  • What whas the top speed

  • The runs were done in 4th gear, and hitting the limiter was equivalent to about 240 kph

  • Ahh very cool! Thanks for the reply Erik. Never heard of this type of dynometer. Good deal, keeps the DSC module happy (that little bugger is expensive!)
