@lucavigg You have never seen da Vinci, yet you assume that you could shake his hand because you believe he existed based upon other people's writings. But you are so quick to deny God's existence even thought the same logic applies to him. Understand now?

@lucavigg But I'm saying, according to your comment, how can you know to shake his hand if you've never seen him before; you're a;ready believing his existence before your own method of reasoning is complete. I didn't say that Ray proved his point, I just said your comment is flawed to the point that you can't believe one without the other. And noone designed God because he existed before time and space and always will exist.

@branchbros I did say "before he died, I could do the same with Da Vinci', but I'm happy to leave it in the present and shake hands with designers who are still alive, if that fulfils your need for absolute accuracy in all things. I'm very happy that you have faith and if it comforts you when thinking about death, then that's great. The point is that Ray has not proved the existence of God here, as he promised to do. BTW, if everything has a designer, who designed God?

@lucavigg I would like to see you shake the hand of Leonardo da Vinci. But how do you know da Vinci existed if you have never seen him? You may base it off of his works, but that would prove Mr. Comfort's point. You could say from witness accounts or historical records, but if you haven't seen da Vinci then you have to take their word for it. You have faith that someone existed though you have neve seen him, but you have no faith in God who is still living?

I can go and shake the hand of the person who made your automobile and before he died, I could do the same with Mr Da Vinci. Just because you think the Universe was created by an intelligent entity doesn't mean it was created by a thing that men created called God. Why not a giant hamster, or a large kosher pickle?

No No, much better to create a fairy tale friend and make him your own personal creator.
