New Zealand Search and Rescue Yeti Ad

If you are lost and injured in the New Zealand mountains, who can save you? Will it be the friendly Yeti who comes to your rescue or will it be Land Search and Rescue New Zealand?

So remember folks, be sure to tell somebody where you are going and when you will be coming back. Carry a rescue beacon, GPS, phone and all the proper equipment to for your trip to the mountains. If you run into trouble New Zealand Land search and Rescue's expert and hard working staff will do everything possible to find you.

Alternately, you could wander into the bush with the wrong gear, tell nobody where you are going and pray for the yeti to get you out when it all turns to custard.

@Clinnin i dont know what volunteers your have in New Zealand but in the US over 95% of SAR is done by volunteers, and we arent sitting at the base of the mountain with an ambulance, we are the ones who will find you. in the U.S. WERE your only way out -United States Air Force Aux. - The Civil Air Patrol

P.S. a PLB does make our job a million times easier.
