  • DSLR produces ugly image? Give me a break.

  • @IndyFlie You have no idea who she is, obviously. I guarantee you that she is more aware of every Panasonic camera than you. She is not only versed, but understands them enough to assist in the books about how to use these cameras.

  • speaking of Red - Jim had better hurry his ass up and get the scarlet into the market or by the time it hits, almost every other company will have something close enough to it already out there. The potential market share for scarlet is shrinking day by day...

  • @bilbomarks i really don't understand,a lot of people use RED ONE to made hollywood movie, and the sensor of RED ONE is actually CMOS,my experience is,CMOS or EXMOR CMOS wasn't that bad.

  • @casablancamicasa CMOS problems are universal.

  • @IndyFlie you talk about the problem of CMOS,that kind of problems may came from those cheap ass cam but not for the high end CMOS cam like sony's XDCAM,now all sony's latest pro cam all go with CMOS,so what you want to say about that? let's face it,DSLR is for still picture, good for video my ass! just wait and see how many smart people will buy this bad boy!

  • She doesn't adress the real problems with CMOS, Skewing, Banding, Jello Effect that is caused by rolling shutter and the annoying FAT32 file wrappers. I would not even think about buying 6k camera unless they solve this and CMOS chips are cheaper and mass produced how can they justify the price. I can build a 7d rig with everything for 4k is she fucking nuts. They expect us to shell out 6k and then more money it's accessories. I think they're out of touch with reality.

  • @serdikos, Ugly picture? She obviously doesn't know what she's talking about? They always have some marketing person (sales person) presenting these items rather than getting a tech person or a cinematographer knows what the filmmakers want. I doubt she even knows how to turn it on. P2 is dead technology she shouldn't even refer to it. It's really annoying.

  • What does she mean when she says that DSLRs bring out an ugly picture? and if so, with what she compares it?

As for the camera looks very practical and well specced.
