Not bad, but the reverse grip is a more commonly element of the Djem-So sub-style of Shien, no? Shien as a whole is an aggressive technique that aims to break through an opponent's defense and end a fight quickly with little regards for energy conservation, but a little more emphasis on defense than say Ataryu or Juuyo. As for the comments that refer to Galen Marek using Shien, he did. He also commonly used Juyo. I guess it makes sense that Vader taught him multiple forms, considering his job.

i love it. I am a huge fan of the reverse grip. thanks man!
@MrMizari Not to mention that a Jedi/Sith/Force user who can use reverse grip effectively can strike fast at certain strategic angles like, say, passing a cut across the opponent's stomach as they're about to attack with an overhead attack of any sort.

@MrMizari My source for creating the form was a mix of three things: what I read in The Jedi Path, what I read and observed with Ahsoka Tano and the fact that Djem So has no need for reverse grip, considering the Falling Avalance technique of Djem So is a forward-grip attack and most practitioners of the form (that being Anakin, Luke and others) never go reverse, despite movie limitations. Reverse grip is moe suited to go with Shien, as it provides extra blade angles to reflect blaster bolts.

So Shien is the famous Galen Marek form from The Force Unleashed then?

@samurai02008 Yes and no. Yes, because a few places I've read (such as the novels and the first game itself) imply that it is in fact Shien that he uses. No, because it isn't definitive at this current stage and time.

Love it! I'm not a HUGE fan of reverse grip, it makes the saber feel too unbalanced in my hand, but still all the same looks like you got a lot of it committed to memory.

@SparkyDude03 Thank you! The only advice I can give about balancing issues is practice, practice, practice!
