The famous and most spectacular backcountry wonder in the Lower 48 states. The Cirque of the Towers, formerly called "Dad's Toothpicks" were first made famous when an article written by Orrin Bonney about the jagged, tall, granite towers was featured in Appalachia magazine during the 1950s, making the Cirque a famous mountain climbing mecca. Here, YellowstonePark.com's Shelli Johnson captures a quick video snapshot of it during a recent "day in the office" in Wyoming's Wind River Range.
Great video of an area few of us will ever get to see. Steady With The Hand! Awesome scenery!!!
