  • with the gum paste can you also use it instead of frosting or icing sheets to print the designs using a printer? like with pink patterns when you printed them out?

  • Yes, you can print on gum paste.

  • Great tutorial. Is that a normal cricut you are using?

  • @samwri1984

Yes, it's a Cricut Expression. That's what I used when I developed this technique.

  • Terrific work yet again, Linda and thank you for this video!

For the person who asked about the grey paper rollers - YES, you do need to remove them from the steel bar.

  • Hi Linda, do you add lemon to the gum paste?

  • I bought the new Cricut for cakes and still haven't opened it and I have had it for a couple of months, you have answered so many questions I have had in you video's that I fill like I am ready to open the box. Thanks so very much.

  • Did you have to remove the lil grey wheels on the inside that rolls across the gumpaste? I have the expression also and mine is on a couple days old. I want to do this for my kids and when i went to make one it made lines thru it. Thats why I was asking if you have to remove those little wheels somehow. Thanks

  • This is so helpful, Linda! I have a new Silhouette and have been struggling to figure out what I'm doing wrong. You're an excellent teacher :)

  • Linda you rock!! Love your videos and dvd's
