Dude. Why didnt you just quantize the synth part. Makes it way faster... All you gotta do is highlight your part and hit Q on the keyboard.

don't you find the new midi function really annoying? I don't know about you but they made the midi harder. You can't even set your own mouse shortcuts for diff tools. (eraser, pen, drag)

Some reason when I play audio or record I get popping noise.... Do you know what type of configuration I set in order for it to play and record properly? Thanks if you can help

I have sonar 8. Is it worth the upgrade to this? Is it a big effort to relearn?

I was searching for something like this because I'm considering grabbing myself a copy. I've been using FL for years with a heap of third party plugins, but I'm thinking its about time to move onto a new DAW. Would you recommend SonarX1 over Albeton Live or Cubase?

hey- wanted 2 thank u 4 taking the time 2 post this! i just picked up Sonar X1 Producer & it isn't exactly intuitive 4 me! i think u just saved me about 4 months of manual flipping & 100 paragraphs of blog-type! i do have a couple questions as a novice 2 the field: what device(s) do u recommend 4 beats & samples 4 use w/Sonar & would u recommend a Roland USB Interface or some other equip 4 use w/Sonar? I'm just a noob getting setup. Thanks again 4 this great instruct video- please keep posting!

@dreddiknight I know enough to get the mic audio and video audio working at the same time. 99% of other people can't. That should be a clue I know what I'm doing.

Until someone can prove me otherwise, I stand by these videos as the best, easiest way to produce electronically on Sonar X1.

To everyone else you should see what these guys are recommending on the forums. Like a LOOP CHOPPER. HELLO, IT'S NOT 1998 ANYMORE! These people are actually jokes more than anything and not hip hop producers.
