  • Cool how you did the gauges. The 2.5 died in mine, and was leaning toward the 307 bc I found one cheap with the trans. No plans of racing mine , just want to be able to keep up with freeway traffic and light the tires once in a while.

  • nice buddy! good job

  • @naterade21 It'll be even more once I get quiet mufflers on it. lol. I've also got a dent in the top of my drivers side fender and when I replace that, I'm not even gonna paint the fender, just leave it whatever color it is, give it the old beat up work truck look, only problem I have is the gear drive, but I could lie and say its my power steering whining. lol.

  • take the hood off the motors the only thing worth looking at.lol nice sleeper though cops and street racers would never expect it till you were gone.

  • @Chevypower265 Plus it would sound killer. And the whine would scare a few people. We saved a 72 C20 with a 327 today at the scrap yard I work at. I would like to take the motor atleast. For now it's our new fuel/parts runner.

  • @kgilroy25 I've never heard of any heating issues due to friction, really the only advantage to them is dead on timing, no slack at all and they don't wear out. I could see then being good in a derby car because they couldn't get pinched like a chain could.

  • @Chevypower265 I am thinking about a gear drive for my derby motor. Some dude said they add to much heat do to friction. And would be bad in a derby motor.
