Just saw Ann Rutherford on what probably is a re-run, but recent enough, of a Huell Howser, Los Angeles show, and I fell in love with her too. Huell was having lunch with two Annes, Anne Rutherford and Ann Jeffreys (Ann Jeffreys from the delightful Topper TV series.) Both Annes were gorgeous and memorable.

Amazing... Ann is still very vital. And funny to.
Properly one of the hottest babes on the silver screen ever.

What a great lady... so friendly and open. But then the 'greats' usually are that way... not at all cool or aloof. This is a wonderful and interesting interview. Thank you for sharing this with us.

She was the Ghost of Christmas past in the 30's Christmas Carol...stunning beauty in that film....

Miss Rutherford is one of my favorite dame. I do remember her, in my favorite film with Glenn Miller "Orquestra Wife" and with Errol Flynn in "Don Juan"...Oh gosh..! years passed by and to me is like yesterday.
She was...and still is a gorgeous woman, with a beautiful smile.
God be with her, whatever she goes.

One of my very favorite actresses. Wrote her 5 or 6 years ago and she sent a picture to me along with a few paragraphs. You should also catch her in the Red Skelton Fox movies, Whistling in the Dark, Whistling in Dixie and Whistling in Brooklyn. Thanks very much for posting this.

That's Careen.

yep careen
I just finished watching her as Polly Benedict in a bunch of Andy Hardy movies on TCM.
She was one of the best things about the Hardy films.
Her and Mickey Rooney had great comedic chemistry together.
Pretty hard to steal a scene from Rooney in his prime, but she did it on a regular basis as Polly.
The Hardy films were never as good after she stopped appearing in them in 1942.
Quite the character.. great to see her alive and well!
Thanks for putting up the clip.

Rutherford is awsome. I always see her films on Turner Classic Movies.
That lady is full of beans. It seems like she has a fun personality. It is cool to see this video. Thanks.
