  • Hey dude, i have one of these bars and ive been using them for a while. but today i found out when i cant tighten it anymore when i try to turn it from the inside. it just keeps turning and turning with no sign of tightening. i tried taking it apart and putting it back together but it still cant be tightened. could you help me with this problem?

    thanks loads

  • Hi. If you've taken it apart and taken that middle screw out, it's very hard to fix it all back into place. I did it about 4 years ago, but I can't remember how. All I remember is that it took a good hour. I'd recommend buying a new one.

  • This is safe, as long as you're not stupid. As I show in my demonstration, it's important to check that the bar is secure first, before raising your feet too far off the ground.

  • okay ive tried the iron gym (didnt fit door)

ive tried the Perfect Multi Gym (worked but started to make indents in wall and can hear it about to puncture a hole or seperate the wall from the frame)

the types ive tried are the wrap around styles that somewat wrap the door but they stress the wall above the door frame a ton

does this kind need bolts and screws to keep it on secureley or can i just twist it tight on like you did in the video and use it like that only?

  • Yes, exactly as I've shown in the video - hence the reason for the video.

  • do you have to take the bar down everytime you need to use the door?

  • Hi. Depends on where you install it. I install it on the outer part of the door frame, that way my door can always close even though it is permanently there. Hope that helps.
