  • Your tutorial does NOT match with the example given here.

It's not even similiar, it looks like bullshit.

Default lights don't include shadows, and the smoke opacity is WAY to high.

There are 2 ways to explain this:

    1. You are too dumb to make a proper tutorial

    2. You haven't made this render

  • @DeAdLyMuRdEr - dude.....others did get similar results.....just becoz ur not smart enough to follow a basic tutorial.....doesnt mean i cant write one.....

  • I get to the part where I have to pick the object, and from there it just deselects the box and selects to the sphere. What am I doing wrong?

  • You have to click the Pick Object button then select the object. Are u doing it right??.....if that doesnt work click the pick button and then press H (or i guess Cntrl+H........dont remember which one it was). That will open a list of all objects in ur scene and then select the sphere.

  • Strangely ... exactly the same lessons I have seen a number of sites, so that your results yavlyaetsya plagiarism

  • Dude i was the 1st one to post a fume fx tut on the net........many have copied my tut n results.......

  • " set Gravity to 0" - set it to about 0.5 - 2, Once i changed that i got results like in his images.

  • I'm wondering if the newer fume fx has different variables. I followed it to the letter, and mine is messed up in so many ways, looks nothing like yours. Oh well, good tutorial none the less.

  • Nice tutorial, my only crit is that the way the shader is set up it will only really render nicely on black background... But it's a good introduction. Thanks

  • FFS guys, try to mess around with the settings instead of blame it on him, it's a great tutorial, but I am a little more advanced in FumeFX, so I can't really use this, but I can see this is a great tutorial :)

  • Thanks for the tut, but... you forgot to mention what System Units are you using. My simulations looks like CRAP and I have the same settings.

  • hey, thanks for the tutorial.

  • @Skelet0rs

Same as moshiko74 check the redering options for the smoke and fire, remember lighting is an important factor as well

  • @moshiko74

You need to go onto the redering options and tweak the fire and/or smoke colour options, if there is no change try the lighting, it could be the brightness or the falloff etc

  • thanks dude! finally my FumeFX got its use!! 10/10!

  • @shikav4

    becoz?

    ur?
