DSi Mario Calculator easter egg

I stumbled upon a cool little easter egg in the Mario Calculator on DSi.

INSTRUCTIONS: If your calculation's resulting digits are sequential moving up in value or down in value by 1 (example: 123456789 or 987654321) you will be rewarded with the end level "flag pole" music from Super Mario Bros, Toad appearing, and an awesome 8-bit fireworks display (one firework per digit). Your calculations result must be larger than 2 digits in length, and as far as I can tell, not exceed 9 digits.

For those who don't know, this is similar to how the fireworks work in the Super Mario Bros game on the NES.

This also works in the Animal Crossing DSi calculator. (with a different result)
