I'm sure Colin's full name was 'Colin Knights'. Straight after he said his name for the camera, Ruth dropped the 'S'. Also the reason that Tery mentioned that 2 Australians rode the Douglas' was that John Hoskins, from Maitland NSW Australia, was credited with presenting speedway to the world in an official organised fashion, in Maitland. He apparantly got the idea from individuals that had got together racing each other, but un-organised. The yanks like to think they invented it but not so.
