i think this is kinda like a rorshack. i spelt that wrong. but my point is you see what you want to see. because you said it looks like mario, many of us see mario. but you'll notice there are some out there who see something else altogether. the two posts below me at the time of this post claim to see link and the assassins creed symbol. a cool optical illusion. but we have to remember that at this point nintendo and sega were bitter rivals. cameos of each others mascots was a big no-no.
