from the 1988 album Odyssey

I always knew, somewhere in time
We'd meet again, we'd cross that line
Don't need to question, no reason why
The answer lies before your eyes
Do you know who I am
Do you understand
Deja vu, dreams come true
I see my soul inside of you
Deja vu, so many lies
familiar spirits behind your eyes
we cross between world through windows of light
with open arms we hold back the night
the crystal of power we hold in our hands
we go on forever and love is the plan
Do you know who I am
Do you understand
Deja vu, dreams come true
I see my soul inside of you
Deja vu, so many lies
familiar spirits behind your eye

  • PS: I wish yngwie would sing more. He has a really cool voice.

  • @Gabe7King8ofrnr10 I have heard him in few songs, interesting voice indeed , J.L. Turner however just shined on this album. Cheers

  • Well, album is Odyssey, but the band was named Rising Force (Malmsteen has also released Rising Force album few years earlier). Cheers!

The wooka chooka, wooka chooka you alluded to is pure Hendrix inspired.

  • @smilingeuterpe Joe is of course, great. I just wish Yngwie would use his voice more and concentrate his efforts more towards song writing in general. He has already proven his virtuosity on the guitar. He did some bad ass vocals on the G3 tour. He should work more towards integrating the classical influence with blues and the other stuff. That's what was so cool about this song at the

"wooka chooka wooka chooka" solo finale.... coolest thing I ever heard him do.

  • @Gabe7King8ofrnr10 ??? This is Joe Lynn Turner on vocals!!!

  • HE IS THE MASTER.....

  • This was the first Malmsteen disc i bought.. Both agressive and full of passion, both fast and melodic. Not as rough as its predecessors, still, what a masterpiece "Odyssey" is!

  • @Gabe7King8ofrnr10 That's in my opinion a detail that takes the song to a whole different level. It would totally not be the same without that break!

  • Post solo, wha wha: "Wuka chooka wicka chika" lol. Awesome. It's also a great song, love the vocals and everything.

  • For real... This is the best thing i have heard ever.Amazing!
