CHAPTER TEN
"Well, apparently my family has been saying there's more to you and I that just you and I."
"Hah." Nick laughed.
Hazel looked at him with raised eyebrows, "So that's a bad thing then?"
"Yes, I mean no, I mean-"
"Nick, relax. I know what you mean, I'm messing with you."
"Oh right." Nick laughed at his own foolishness.
"Anyways, I suppose we should probably be getting back to them." Hazel said getting up.
"Just one more thing."
"What Nick?"
"I am cute right?"
"Yes Nick." Hazel said patting the top of his mess of curls. "Very cute."
They laughed and made their way back out to the deck.
Joe and Kevin were in the pool now. Of course Joe had pulled Kevin in fully clothed.
"When did this happen?" Nick asked pointing towards the pool.
"You just missed it." Julianna replied laughing.
"Oh. Dang."
Kevin was swimming towards Joes clothing. "Der ner. Der ner. Der ner." Hazel sang.
"Kevin, man chill. It was a joke. Don't hurt the jeans." Joe pleaded. Too late. Kevin got out of the pool and dived back in, holding Joes clothes. Everyone surrounding the pool was laughing twenty minutes later when both Kevin and Joe sat in the living room wrapped in two pink fluffu dressing gowns. "Uh, you can keep mine." Hazel said to Joe.
"Oh look. His face matches the gown." Nick joked pointing at Kevin, their father roared with laughter at this one.
"I'll get you next time Nicholas Jonas." Joe said attempting to make the "I'm watching you" Gesture, but poking himself in the eye instead.
"Oh dear. Where's the video camera when you need it?" Julianna laughed. Hazel pulled out her iPhone and started taking pictures. "Be a tiger." She said to Joe who was trying to look like a bunny.
"Okay, fun's over." Geff said entering the living room, Princip, Mr. P.A.D and Tahsa followed.
"Tasha!" Kevin yelled racing towards her. They were the Nick and Hazel of their age.
"Kev-oh... Are you wearing my old dressing gown?"
Keving turned bright red. "Maybe."
"Oh yep. Look, there it says I heart Max Caldwell on the left sleeve." Tasha pointed out.
"Aw man." Kevin groaned.
"Princip Draisic." Tahsas husband said extending his hand to kevin. "You're kevin Jonas right?"
"Yes."
"I have heard all good about you. That Joseph is a character."
"Oh he is indeed." Kevin replied, thinking Princip had no idea how right he was.
"Nicholas Jonas." Nick said introducing himself, since it seemed to be the only way it would happen.
"Ah, little Nicky. The light of Hazels life." Princip said in the deep voice that Hazel now understood how it made Tasha melt. Hazel turned bright pink.
"Well, the feeling is mutual." Nick said winking at Hazel, who turned even brighter pink.
"Aw, aint that the cutest little thing." Denise said plucking Princip Juniour out of Tashas arms.
"His name is Princip." Tasha said after a moment.
"Prinny...." Hazel said finally getting a chance to meet the brother in law who had been such a nice man via email.
"Hazzaa." He exclaimed hugging Hazel tightly.
That was all that needed to be said between the two. They already got on like a house on fire.
Aaron walked in the front door at that moment.
"Aaron!" Tasha screamed. She had only met him a few times before she started travelling, she never expected things between Geff and her mother to last, Tasha always expected him to dump her mother for someone else who was completely loaded.
"Tasha!" He yelled back hugging his future step sister. "It's been forever."
"I know!" She replied kissing his cheek. "So, meet any good girl yet?"
"Taaasha." Aarons lack of love life was infamous amongst the family. He could have any girl he could. Popular, MVP basketball, track, he had a brain, he just wanted someone who he felt he could trust completely, someone who respected themselves. That was very much in contrast to the rest of the student body at his high school. Hazels future High School.
