  • @n310ea nothing would happen. You'd have to disable a load of safety systems to get it to do anything.

  • Gear weighs alot. Composite door Very light.

  • I wouldn't want to be under that thing when it comes down.

  • @n310ea squat switch would not let that happen, when "weight on wheels" is present the landing gear cannot be retracted.

  • @Mach3Filmsi have one question is it bad for the wheels to retrcat into the well shile they are still spinning?

  • The one thing about this video is that it doesn't give you a good feeling of how effing ridiculously large the landing gear are. The tires are 52 inches in diameter! (on the -300ER, at least) The gear retraction is like watching an elephant climb into a treehouse. I love it, haha. 777 FTW!

  • Thats the most boring video ever

  • Make it do it again, daddy!

  • @boeingairbus1000 usually brakes are activated after the aircraft leaves the ground so the wheels arent spinning when they enter the wheel well

  • after take off when landing gear go up, do they keep spinning?

  • What would happen if the pilot attempts to put the gear up while the plane is on the ground?

  • Is it me or does the retraction seem a tad bit slow? :/ Hmm
