Hehe... you know what I forgot to mention (I just realized after watching this clip again) is that I used After Effects' tool 'Time Remap' to do the slow motion ramping effects in this clip.

It's good Motion Graphics program and the industry standard as far as I'm concerned. Our Sr. Motion Graphics/3D artist uses it always at work.

oh ok
what do you think of adobe after effects?

I edit on FCP at work and at home.

Basically, I just will practice nose mannys so much that I don't even think about them. You have to do them so freakin much that it's automatic - and the question of 'will I land this nose manual' never comes into your mind. Get warmed up and do about 5 nose manuals (land them) in a row. Then start throwing the shuv. Your body will be so used to nose manual it'll start pushing there. Then just adjust how high your popping and how long you wait before putting your foot down. You'll get it soon!

naw I can do ollie to nosemanuals on lock everytime. Its just that I cant pop shuvit into it.
And if I do get the popshove it into nosemanual, my feet are in the wrong position and I cant balance.

It's all about those little adjustments before hand. If you land on your heel to much, then move your heel a little more off the board before popping. If you land on your toe too much, then move your foot more onto the board. It's also timing - pop shuv nose is not about popping and getting it into nose manny as fast as possible.
The big thing that made the jump for me learning it was what my friend said - wait. Just pop and watch your board, like slo-mo and wait for it to be perfect.
