A new, extra large species of elephant shrew has been discovered by chance in Tanzania. The forest dwelling creature is distantly related to elephants, sea cows and aardvarks.

    Can't stand when species are called "new". Newly discovered is more like it, though I'm sure they would do just fine without us ever laying our eyes on them.
