  • would you not get a speed increase from the slot effect if you but the control sail to within a couple of mm of the leech of the main? what made you decide to change the configuration from the first video?

  • If it was made as a slot. It would not control the angle of attack very well. The problem with the first one was that there was no way to park it "switch it off".

  • This would be a lot of fun in Florida's shallow grassy lakes that hang up keels and rudders. It would slide right over. I want to build one!

  • Hi

Seems to be slight misunderstanding here. These models are not operating without rudders. There is rudder under each hull at the rear.

  • thank you!ever try aFliptacker? check out Maltese Falcon yacht +DynaRig.very responsive boat ,going bigger?

  • I have considered the Fliptacker principle. Personally, I don't think its worth the trouble, the loss with a symetrical section is small compared to the complication of tipover technology.

Maltese Falcon, DynaRig. These ideas are simply not radical enough - just improvements on 17th Century design. Why use complicated computers for wind-alignment when a simple wind-vane will do the same job.

  • Very good idea of wingsailing ship

  • Any solar to keep the battery charged?

  • at :35 dog attack

  • a self adjusting sail sure would be handy in light variable winds. so the sail has no servo? i want to build a sail like that for my cat model and possibly for my hobie 18. how does the flap controll the trim? how would i depower something like that. you should make another video explaining the sail close up

  • this is pretty cool looks fun
