Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around

Cash wrote only three of the fifteen tracks on this album, and "The Man Comes Around" is the only one that Cash wrote for the album. He partially sings and partially speaks the words, which contain numerous Biblical references, predominantly from the Book of Revelation. The song never names "the Man" who will come around, though an obvious inference would be the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. According to the song, when the Man comes around, there will be judgment for some and salvation for others. A series of images depict the horror and confusion of that judgment day.

Thanks for the info - I think I saw the movie but the song slipped passed me then.I will make a plan the check the movie again .When The MAN Comes Around - one of the coolest song titles I must say.Still people comment on the song.Does anybody know a good story why Johnny Cash wrote this song, maybe his biography shed some light on this, then I must find that book and read it,I guess.
