Don't be discouraged! Everyone's body is different, so our weight loss will be different too. Just keep going! :-)

Perhaps you just need to consume the pill for a bit longer to see more results, or perhaps you're consuming something that is hurting your loss. I'd stay away from caffeine, and really try to cut down the amount of food you're eating in a meal. Has the pill helped curb your appetite? Drink LOTS of water! It definitely helps with the weight loss! Good luck! Ashley

My husband and I have been on phentermine (37.5) for a month now. We had our follow up yesterday. I've lost 20 lbs while he had lost 30 lbs :-/ I'm so jealous of him. Lol. I can't be mad b/c I'm a stay at home mom, while he's at work loading and unloading heavy equipment so hes getting alot more exercise than I am. On the other hand I am very happy for my husband I just want both of us to be as healthy as possible for our children and thats really all that matters to me at this point.

I wish my husband had gotten on Phen @ the same time I did too, but we weren't sure how much it would cost for both of us (Dr, pills, weigh-ins), so I think it's awesome that u & your husband could do this together. I'd be a bit jealous 2 because I'm SO sure my husband would lose weight faster than me as well. Ugh! :-)
I agree-- I looked @ the whole ordeal as perhaps there may b medical issues w/going on the pill, but being this overweight was a definite medical issue, so on the pill I went! :-)

Wow! 20 lbs. in 2 weeks?! You must look like a completely different person to the people in your life. I was right with you on the "not seeing it" when it came to seeing my weight loss. It probably wasn't until I'd lost at least 30 that I actually started seeing some differences. Now having lost 40+, I can't believe just how big I was only 4+ months ago!

Congrats & stay strong. When the loss slows down, don't get discouraged! Just remember the 20 you've already lost-- then smile! :-D

Great advice! Always having something low fat to munch on would be so helpful at times. :-)

Congrats on your weight loss, and thank you for your comment. It's great to hear that you were able to keep the weight off for most of the 15 years since you first took Phen! That gets me excited. :-D

It's odd how similar most people's bodies are at times, huh? :-) I always say that in reality I know my body better than any doctor will ever know, so before I rush off to ask for a doctor's advice I'm going to try and figure out the whys of my body first. Our own conclusions are sometimes very accurate.

Thank you for your comments and your continued support. I appreciate it SO much! :-D

That's how it effects me too. One day a friend of mine bought me lunch, and she bought stuff I haven't consumed in quite some time. Woah! did my tummy hurt within about an hour after eating the little bit that I did! I hadn't felt "ill" like that in quite some time. ;-)

Thanks and have a GREAT week! :-)
