AR230 Engine lights come on. Not sure why.

  • Also, the check engine light appears to be flashing a code, looks like "3" pause, then "5" which could be code 3, code 5, or possibly code 35. Service manuals have the specs for these codes.

  • The left side light is a check engine light. The center is engine temperature. The right side light is for oil pressure. As the center one is flashing, I'd say it has to do with engine temp, perhaps a clogged water strainer or supply line. If the engine is peeing out the indicator streams, then, it could be a temp sensor malfunction.

    When it does this, is your RPM limited to about 4K? The CDI should put it into learn mode if there's an issue with any sensor.

  • UH....have you checked the oil?
