I like him but I always sense some nervousness or anxiety in his playing.

I once accompanied him at a masterclass. He was playing on a Steinway and I don't remember him playing nicer sounding sounds than on the YAMAHA.

It is a shame that YAHAMA was chosen - that is the probable cause for the not so pretty and shallow sounds at times. The action is more shallow, thus allowing for faster response which may favor certain pianists. I would never buy a YAMAHA unless they change its piano technology.

excellant interpretation of this ballade...much better than his brothers ballade 1 IMHO.
