We had some wheat that failed on a headland. I worked the wheat up with a tractor equiped with autosteer. I programmed in a vehicle heading of 270 degrees using A+ method of guidance. I ripped up only enough wheat to match my spray boom (90 ft). When I pulled in with the planter all I had to do was drop the planter along the wheat , save my " A" point, then plug in a 270 degree heading. Three passes were made with the planter. The headland came out perfect with no wasted areas. The tractor is a 1992 model John Deere 4055 pulling a 7200 John Deere planter. It is equipped with a Starfire RTK Reciever and Radio, GSD4 display, ATU 200 universal autosteer and a Seed Sense 20 20.
