  • It isnt pronounced lih-zer it's lie-zer. Its their accent of the way to say lizza or lizza. How ever you spell it. Sorry if bugging you,butbits annoying to hear the proper pronounciation.

  • You guys very obviously aren't from newfoundland. THis is supposed to be a happy fun song, You're too perfect, Loosen up a little. It's supposed to be fun.

  • Beautiful . Tks. for sharing.

  • Our choir (The Munich Youth Choirs) went this year to Newfoundland! We also sang this song, but with much fun.

    We sang it every day 1-5 Times, but all times with fun.!!

  • This is really good but i do agree with many people this song is Loads of fun if you let it be i sang this with my group and we kept being told we needed to loosen up until our director made us laugh and so we'd go up to sing and somehow she'd remind us of whatever we had thought was so funny (can't remember its been two years) we enjoyed it so much that earlier today one of my friends leaned over tome and said "I'se the by" and i laughed we spent the rest of the day singing it

  • Lih-zer = no

    Accompanist = fantastic!!

  • Where are you from?

  • its liz-er not liz - za or lizard whatever yiur saying

  • Liza should be with a long i sound like Lie za. Dialect often makes the ending -a sound like -er sound like Lizer, Bonavister, etc...

  • i remember singing this at school when i was 10...john govedas died when i was 8. he was the pianist 4 choir and 4 some classes. he was the life of the party. good video!! :)
