This week Mark goes over the basics of autofocus with a little help from Stunt Pig. Mark covers autofocus modes, the difference between drive modes and auto focus modes, adjusting the diopter and gives a few tips for using manual focus.

lol! you put the 7d in low mode. put it ih H mode. and you will get same speed as the 3ds :)

Thanaks Mark. Can you do a video on shooting at certain F stops at varying distances? It confuses me :)

@TheOats You are right about the beginner aspect but if you are going to be a professional then you should get your facts straight. All the more reason Mark should be putting out factual information to his viewers who depend on his guidance. I hope this was just an honest mistake. If not I would question Mark's character.

@zygotepeyote Thanks for the input. This video is factual. I'm talking to beginners about focus. This isn't a video about different cameras and their shooting speeds. I was simply trying to help people understand the difference between drive modes and focus modes.
