I must admit, this is one of the best pours I have seen for black and tan.

Well, I'll come clean...it was Leinie's HoneyWeiss. Slightly darker, more traditional styles didn't show up as well on film, so I compromised a little. The combination really wasn't bad at all!

It's a "black and tan spoon," also called a "brolly" by the folks at Bass Ale. Mine's homemade from some scrap stainless. You can make one out of a large spoon or buy one (sometimes they look triangular or shaped like turtles).
