POW POW MOVEMENT (KOELN, DE)

The mighty Pow Pow Movement is a urban, reggae music living legend. Founded in Cologne north-west of Germany in 1991, Pow Pow was the first reggae dancehall sound system in continental Europe. In the early days they travelled to Jamaica where they recorded their first dubplates . After they came back from Jamaica they start to promote illegal dancehalls, but the incredible energy of their show made it possible for them to receive calls from many festivals and concerts.After police persecutions due to their illegal dancehalls, in 1995 they start juggle every Friday in Petite prince club in Cologne, where they invited the whole international gotha of dancehall music,and today after 16 years they are still the beloved resident sound. After winning many soundclash in Europe in 2000 they were invited to the World Clash in New York as the first European sound to perform in the most important challenge between the reggae sounds from all over the World. After they crushed One Love hp from Rome in Hamburg in 2002 they ritered from the soundclash business and start their work as producers. They produced some of the the last decade crucial dancehall riddims like "Shanty town", "Superior" and the world famous " Blaze " on which was featured the monster hit of Richie Spiche "Blood again" which stayed on the top of the reggae charts worldwide (Jamaica included) for weeks. On the same riddim they also featured Chuck Fender "cry for my people", Junior Kelly "Blaze" and the Italian hit of Brusco "Sangue del mio sangue". They played almost everywhere in the world, and every summer in the middle of August they perform in Mamanera (Salento) in front of 5000 people from all over Europe in one of the Italy's most famous and classic dancehall nights. They still feature all the big Jamaican singers and this year they celebrate 20 years in the music business. Nowadays they are still the biggest german sound system and probably the baddest in Europe.

One of the most interesting Italian Dnb producer , since 2007 is member of Sochopatix crew which also used to own a label called SCPTX Recordings and promote some big events in the north of italy, like: DnbNemesis, Therapy Session, Bassformers, Torture Chamber. The memebrs SCPTX closed the label in the beginning of 2010 to follow different musical directions and now URBAN is performing as solo dj. he played in many clubs like : Link, Crash, Cacubo (Bologna) Fucina Controvento (Ve), Maffia (Re) La Pergola (Mi), Villaggio globale (Roma) and played longside artist like Nocturnal [UK], Prolix [UK], Ebk [UK], Axiom [CH], Optiv [UK], Proket [RUS], Audio [UK], Rusher [GER], Masheen [UK], Spor [UK] TheSect[UK] Mayhem [USA] Malsum [SPN] Mystification [HU] Phace [Ger] Kriotek [Rom], Counterstrike, Black Sun Empire [NL], Spectrasoul [UK]:
