east coast is underrated i have a beach house in the summer in ri and its solid waves glassy 5+barrels, i think east coast riders cherish the sport more than west coast ppl, we ride in the harshest conditions to have fun with friends and enjoy the swell that pops up one day and dies the next, im nvr leaving the east coast or moving inland ill kill myself if i do

I was in cali this weekend, and yes the waves were great, but those crowded 150 man lineups make you appreciate New York. Everyday we are constantly checking surf report, hoping to get a swell, and when we do, we go out in the near freezing water, with little to no crowds butit blows away anything. East coast!!

I grew up on these out on LI! Man i'd much rather be out here in the East than the overrated Cali Coast..Its so much better out here. Wayy nicer in my opinion, calmer and the people appreciate it more.
