After I had my son the nurse was too lazy to get me food, so I guess she just gave me something easy-graham crackers and chocolate milk... but the chocolate milk was SOO good after I had my son! Something I will definitely want with my next!

Get the "H" out!! I have never heard of that baby diaper "ice pack" before! What an EXCELLENT idea!!! Nobody thought of that back in "my day"!
My doctor's rule--"back in the day"---whatever day you had your baby on---you went home on that day of the NEXT week!!! Can you imagine!!! Those were the days! I looked upon it as a "vacation" too! Loved the routine of eating, showering ---back to bed---holding and feeding baby! NO housework or other chores to worry about!! Enjoy YOUR vacation!!

I bought those special little travel size things when I had my son and got scents I normally don't get...I think those smells will forever remind me of that first shower :) Its amazing how you feel like a real person again after a just shower, lol!

Great tips for the vacation! I took notes - will be there soon (4 weeks I hope) and appreciate them a ton since this is my first. Congrats to you guys - cute Ozzy boy seems to be adjusting to the world very well. :)

i was 41 weeks pregnant when i had my daugther (my first) and that shower after giving birth is AMAZING! and after that, to even pee for more than 5 seconds was awsome too! nothing pushing on your bladder anymore! i remember the next day, how excited i was to pee for like a whole minute straight lol! and the fun hospitol ice was amazing with sweet tea! oh my gosh! so good! i miss the little red button too lol
