  • I remember going to the McDonald's, the Sizzler Steak House and the Taco Bell there back in the day. Hamburgers were 15¢ and taco's were15¢, gas was 25¢ a gallon. Just went to Clifford's benefit concert...get better dude.

  • That was soulful

  • Man you dig deep brother ...real deep!

  • I got a 56 Buick an a 66 vw bus on my driveway right now! I used to have this album some one swiped it.

  • I grew up in LA late 50's- 70's. And I love low rider music.

  • Gotta admit I never heard of him before, but this is an awesome tune.

  • @ramonamadalena1 I was hoping I could record mine on cd-r or maybe tape, but I might sell it.

  • A white guy gave me this album 30+ years ago! Sure wish I had it now. Best track: Sal si Puedes. My mom and dad lived in "Salsi" before I was born.

  • Could you please please upload "Prayer Garden" from this LP? I have searched everywhere for this cut and it is simply now available anywhere - yet it is Clifford's inner sanctum, the deepest piece of music he ever made. (And Voco played IT every night for a week too!) Thanks much.

  • The great underground San Fran DJ Abe "Voco" Keshkarian played this cut every night for a week on his late night "Lights Out" show on KSAN around 1970. He saw the genius of Clifford Coulter. Is this song love for a woman or love for a drug? Voco later OD'd and paid the price. But what a great mind for music. Clifford Coulter made it through, it seems, but his music became routine from what I've heard of it. Anyway, thanks for uploading this. It's great music.
