FOLLOW THE FULL EXPERIENCE OF THE ROAD TRIP HERE
My next stop is in a nomadic Chewong village, and this is precisely what I love about road-trips: how else would I ever get to such a remote location? The Chewong are one of the original people from Malaysia, called Orang Asli. They enjoy their privacy and a way of life thats rich in tradition, but are still very kind and welcoming to visitors. I ended up sharing a meal and getting a tour of the village, and also some tips on how to live simply. There are only about 700 Chewong people in Malaysia, and it was great to get to know their history and way of life.
